Stevie and Sachin’s Indian Wedding at the Philadelphia Marriot Downtown

I am just so pumped up to share some of these images from last Saturday’s wedding unique Indian wedding in Philadelphia. It was a whole 14 hour shoot, but did not feel tired at all because of the energy of this bride and groom. Congrats to Stevie and Sachin! I wish you guys all the best in your marriage…

Sachin on his way to meet his bride during the “Baraat”, a part of the traditional Indian wedding ceremony where the groom rides a horse (or sometimes an elephant) and do a procession with his family members to meet the bride and her family before they tie the knot.

With full of energy, the groom’s family sing and dance as they do a procession to meet the bride’s family. Great job

Bride’s mom reacts seeing her daughter walk down the aisle….

Stevie is such a gorgeous bride!

Did not know this was coming…as the bride and groom walk down the aisle after the ceremony, we were fired upon with party poppers. It was all over my camera lens but made a cool effect…LOL

Just having so much fun with the bridal party!

Love those henna on Stevie’s hands…not to mention contrasting with her gorgeous eyes!

Shooting this in broad daylight with slow shutter speed at Rittenhouse Square Park is not that easy….nailed it!

Stevie and Sachin met for the first time in their tradional American wedding outfit.

Perfect timing that day…not a single soul at the Philadelphia Art Museum except this gorgeous bridal party!

And party was non-stop till midnight at the beautiful Philadelphia Marriot Downtown’s ballroom. Here’s a shot of their romantic first dance.

So grateful to be part of this amazing day of Stevie and Sachin…thanks for treating us just like one of your family members. We had a blast!

Congrats to Rada and Konstantin – a Russian wedding at The Vie

I am very excited to be part of Rada and Konstantin’s union at The Vie this weekend. One of the coolest couples you will ever meet, Rada and Konstantin are so much fun to photograph. Until now I still cannot believe they got into the water while shooting at a fountain in Philly under the 40 degree weather that evening. I love it when my couples are that fearless! ;) Check out these awesome images and see how much fun we had during their engagement session-

Very romantic moment between Rada and Konstantin with the Swann Memorial fountain and the Philadelphia City Hall in the background.

Gorgeous view from the rooftop of this Philadelphia luxury apartment.

Love it when my couples bring these cute little props for their engagement shoot….

What you don’t notice here is it;s 30-40 degress F…and this Rada and Kons are freezing…LOL

So much fun during playtime that evening! Got to be like kids sometimes..

And ending the series with this daring shot…Congrats to Rada and Konstantin, so excited and honored to be documenting your big day!

Congrats to Kathleen and Bryan! – a Holly Hedge Estate Wedding

…for tying the knot last Sunday at Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, Pennsylvania.  Met Kathleen and Bryan in New York last year and immediately at our first meeting we all clicked. Kathleen is the sweetest and Bryan is a lot of fun. They became one of my favorite couples especially after braving the cold weather at Central Park during their engagement session last Fall.

Their wedding at Holly Hedge in PA was a blast..check out the following images including our visit at the Bucks County’s historical Ivyland Railroad for our bridal party photo shoot:

Here’s Kathleen as she prepares for her big day…

Love this shot of Kathleen’s shoes and her engagement ring…

I love the stone walls inside the rooms at Holly Hedge, makes a perfect backdrop for a wedding dress.

Holly Hedge has that antique/vintage feel all over the estate and so much opportunity for a romantic shot of the bride and groom…

And as a commemoration of Kathleen’s deceased father, she honored him by making him present in her wedding with this picture attached on her flower bouquet.

Gorgeous bride!

Before the ceremony, I took the bridal party to Bucks County’s historical Ivyland Railroad where we shot these gorgeous images next to these huge steam trains. Shooting in the middle of the afternoon is one of the toughest light you will ever encounter when photographing people, but I was so glad this image turned out amazing! Thanks to the wind blowing Kahtleen’s very long veil.

And back to Holly Hedge, the Jewish wedding ceremony began with the signing of the Ketubah. Here, Bryan signs the Ketubah while the Rabbi, right, looks on.

It was a very solemn and memorable ceremony, with lots of laughter and tears….

And I want to end with one of my favorite image of Kathleen and Bryan and I want to wish them the best in their marriage!

Congrats to Lauren and Eric! a Hotel DuPont Wedding

I am so excited to document the wedding of Lauren and Eric on Saturday. They will tie the knot at the beautiful Brantwyn Mansion and Estate then a reception will follow at the elegant Hotel DuPont.

I have no doubt that this wedding is going to be AMAZINGLY gorgeous, knowing Lauren’s style. Lauren, by the way, is a very talented wedding and event planner based in Hoboken, NJ. I love reading her blog on her site – Diary of a Bride to Be. Here she talks about the dos and don’ts of planning a wedding, plus lots of positive challenges she encounters as it gets closer to her own wedding day. Very smartly written Lauren, and thanks for sharing to all other brides out there these great ideas!

I just saw recently that I starred on one of her posts on her DIARY…LOL Thanks for the kind words, Lauren! Check it out (click on the image below to see her blog site) -

I shot Lauren and Eric’s engagement session at Cape Henlopen beach. I remember the day being so hot but despite the heat, we had so much fun on the beach! Check out these shots -

I love these surfer shots..It was so hard to isolate a shot of the couple along Cape Henlopen beach that day with plenty of surfers running in and out of my shots. So I had this idea of incorporating them into the pictures instead. .If you can beat them, join them. LOL

Love this shot of the ring in the woods…

Congrats to Lauren and Eric, can’t wait to document this special day of yours.

Please follow this link to view their wedding images when they become available after a few weeks. Password will be provided by the bride and groom:
