Congratulations to Via and JC – A Filipino wedding at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD

…then a reception will follow at the Martin’s West wedding venue in Baltimore. We are very excited to be part of Via and JC’s BIG DAY. It’s going to be another amazing Filipino wedding for a fun and sweet couple. I shot their engagement session few months ago in Baltimore, Maryland after coming back straight from Venice, Italy trip. I remember going straight from JFK airport to Baltimore to shoot their engagement. =) We had so much fun that day..check out the images from our shoot…

We shot during sunset and at a perfect timing the light illuminates the Old Power Plant Building in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. What a romantic shot…

Hooked on love…

Time to have fun…thanks to this group of teenagers who made this picture fun!

Love these shots of Via and JC at the historic Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse, located on Pier 5 in the Baltimore Inner Harbor. If you have not seen this amazing antique  lighthouse, you should check it out on your next visit to Baltimore. Here’s a little something about this piece of  Maryland’s history – “The Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse was built in 1855 and is the oldest screw-pile lighthouse in Maryland. A beacon of the Chesapeake Bay, it used to mark the mouth of the Patapsco River which leads to Baltimore’s Harbor. In the late 1980’s, plans failed to move the lighthouse to the Mariner’s Museum in Newport News, VA, and in 1988 the Lighthouse was acquired by the city of Baltimore.” (Source:

I wish Via and JC the best in their marriage!

Congratulations to Alicia and Mark – a destination wedding at Westin Diplomat Resort

…we are so excited to be part of this amazing wedding of Alicia and Mark at the Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, FL. We met Alicia and Mark back in 2011 in Washington DC, where both are now based. They chose to do a destination wedding in Florida and what a great choice to hold their BIG DAY at the amazing Westin Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, FL. This resort, which is about 30 minutes away from Miami, Florida, actually reminds me of the Westin Resort in Aruba, where we have stayed a couple of times when we shoot weddings there. We are very impressed with how hospitable the staff at this hotel are. And the view is just so breathetaking! Check out this first picture shot from our room…and Thank you to Alicia and Mark for the accommodations! That was really nice of you guys…

We shot Alicia and Mark’s engagement in Washington DC, where the two are currently based for their jobs.

Love this shot from the Thomas Jefferson Memorial…

Alicia’s ring…WOW!

Congrats Alicia and Mark…we wish you guys all the best!

I want to share some images I shot recently of Elda and Mike’s precious little one – Baby Gabriel. I thank Elda and Mike for giving me the opportunity to continue to document the special moments their lives beginning from their wedding few years ago, Elda’s maternity photos, their baby’s photo shoot, then Gabriel’s baptism this weekend.

Check out these lovely pictures…

Few weeks before she gave birth, we wrapped a ribbon around Elda’s belly, awaiting one of the greatest gifts they ever had…

So peaceful and so adorable…

Gorgeous family….

Believe me we took all the safety precautions to end up with this shot…email me and I will tell you the secret behind this picture…LOL

Love, love, love the heart shots of both of these images…

This is a very touching image…the love of the father to his first born son…

..and CONGRATULATIONS to Baby Gabriel, who was baptized into Christianity recently! Thank you Elda and Mike for letting me document the special moments of your lives!

Published in New York Times and TIME Magazine’s Business

When I am not photographing weddings, I love to do some news photography for some clients of mine like the Associated Press, ZUMA Press, or Gannett. One of my recent photograph of FORD chief executive and chairman (though a very simple shot) went viral on big newspapers and magazines out there. Check out these two from The New York Times and TIME Business.

Congrats to Sherry and Mark! – A wedding at The Hyatt Dulles near Washington DC

…they will be trying the knot at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church in Fairfax, VA, then a reception will follow at The Hyatt Dulles near Washington DC.

We first met Sherry at the Great Bridal Expo in Washington DC in 2011. When she mentioned they are having a Filipino wedding, that got be all excited. It’s always great to cover a Filipino wedding, it reminds me of my own wedding eight years ago.

We did their engagement during the Cherry Blossoms Festival in Washington DC. Despite the thousand of crowd in the area that day, we managed to get a lot of good pictures of this sweet couple. Check them out -

Love this sweet moment captured  infront of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC…

What a very attractive young couple!

Got to show that Louis Vuitton purse and Mark’s favorite hat ofcourse…

I love this picture of these two fashionistas!

Another wedding we are going to have this weekend is an exciting Chinese Wedding ceremony. We always love covering cultural weddings! And best part about this particular one is, it’s going to be the wedding of one of our favorite couples – Alice and Eric.

When I met Alice and Eric back in 2011, I know for sure that we are all a good match for we really hit it off during our initial meetings. And when it came to our engagement session in Philly, it was all a lot of fun! Check out some of the images we shot…

This was shot from what they call the “Rocky Steps“, the 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in Philadelphia. They called them the Rocky Steps” as a result of their appearance in the triple-Oscar-winning film Rocky. What an amazing view of the city of Philadelphia from the top of the steps!

With Alice’s wedding color being purple, we found this flower at the Love Park in Philly as an appropriate background for her gorgeous engagement ring.

Congrats guys, we can’t wait to cover your big day!

CONGRATS TO CORINNE AND SCOTT – A Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Wedding

I am so fired up to shoot another grand wedding today at another magnificent church in Philadelphia, PA – The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Thanks to Corinne and Scott for selecting me to document their special day at this gorgeous Cathedral. A reception will follow then at the amazing Franklin Institute.

Corinne and Scott have planned their wedding while working overseas. It was actually interesting how they book me even without meeting me  in person. For that, I thank them for trusting me and believing in my talents. When they came back from their assignments abroad, we shot their engagement session in Washington DC, where they spent most of the time during their relationship. As a matter of fact we shot at the FDR Memorial where Scott proposed to Corinne.

What a romantic setting as the sun sets on the Potomac River.
