FEATURED ON GL1 HOTLIGHT PAGE

Did not get a chance to post this when it first came out, but I just want to write about how thrilled I am for having some of my images featured on the new GL1 Hotlight’s page.

So happy to be one of the photographers to test this amazing tool before it even went out on the market. Thanks to a good friend Brian Marcus, co-developer of the GL1, for the opportunity!

I say the GL1 Hotlight was a godsend when I needed a portable lighting to bring with me during my  recent trip to Africa. It fits well in my luggage, and it’s very light to carry around. It’s perfect for any destination wedding photographer like me.

As it is stated in their website, this powerful portable light features -

  • Focusing LED light, with powerful tungsten color output.
  • Lets you light quickly & effectively on the go. Its 5:1 focus range lets you zero in, to highlight your subject with a tight spot, or pull out to wide flood and add fill-light to a larger area.

Just bought my own GL1 Hotlight recently and it has saved me in many ways especially when the wedding shoot has to move inside because of the recent weird weather we’ve been having.  It truly lives up to it’s main motto – “Hollywood Lighting in the palm of your hand”. Here’s a link where to buy one if interested - www.gl1hotlight.com

Congrats to Rada and Konstantin – a Russian wedding at The Vie

I am very excited to be part of Rada and Konstantin’s union at The Vie this weekend. One of the coolest couples you will ever meet, Rada and Konstantin are so much fun to photograph. Until now I still cannot believe they got into the water while shooting at a fountain in Philly under the 40 degree weather that evening. I love it when my couples are that fearless! ;) Check out these awesome images and see how much fun we had during their engagement session-

Very romantic moment between Rada and Konstantin with the Swann Memorial fountain and the Philadelphia City Hall in the background.

Gorgeous view from the rooftop of this Philadelphia luxury apartment.

Love it when my couples bring these cute little props for their engagement shoot….

What you don’t notice here is it;s 30-40 degress F…and this Rada and Kons are freezing…LOL

So much fun during playtime that evening! Got to be like kids sometimes..

And ending the series with this daring shot…Congrats to Rada and Konstantin, so excited and honored to be documenting your big day!

Congrats to Kathleen and Bryan! – a Holly Hedge Estate Wedding

…for tying the knot last Sunday at Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope, Pennsylvania.  Met Kathleen and Bryan in New York last year and immediately at our first meeting we all clicked. Kathleen is the sweetest and Bryan is a lot of fun. They became one of my favorite couples especially after braving the cold weather at Central Park during their engagement session last Fall.

Their wedding at Holly Hedge in PA was a blast..check out the following images including our visit at the Bucks County’s historical Ivyland Railroad for our bridal party photo shoot:

Here’s Kathleen as she prepares for her big day…

Love this shot of Kathleen’s shoes and her engagement ring…

I love the stone walls inside the rooms at Holly Hedge, makes a perfect backdrop for a wedding dress.

Holly Hedge has that antique/vintage feel all over the estate and so much opportunity for a romantic shot of the bride and groom…

And as a commemoration of Kathleen’s deceased father, she honored him by making him present in her wedding with this picture attached on her flower bouquet.

Gorgeous bride!

Before the ceremony, I took the bridal party to Bucks County’s historical Ivyland Railroad where we shot these gorgeous images next to these huge steam trains. Shooting in the middle of the afternoon is one of the toughest light you will ever encounter when photographing people, but I was so glad this image turned out amazing! Thanks to the wind blowing Kahtleen’s very long veil.

And back to Holly Hedge, the Jewish wedding ceremony began with the signing of the Ketubah. Here, Bryan signs the Ketubah while the Rabbi, right, looks on.

It was a very solemn and memorable ceremony, with lots of laughter and tears….

And I want to end with one of my favorite image of Kathleen and Bryan and I want to wish them the best in their marriage!
