Thanks to Vinnie and Rohit for letting me document their Hindu and Sikh wedding. Photographing this couple’s whole three-day wedding event in Wilmington, DE and in Cambridge, MD, was one of the best experiences I had in my wedding photography career. Everyone was super nice and they all treated me and my wife Bless just like their own family. Here are some of my favorite images from their wedding. It’s so easy to put more than a hundred here because their wedding was so colorful, but I did my best to edit dit own to few images…enjoy!
My coverage started with the Sangeet ceremony taken at the Doubletree Hotel in Wilmington, DE few nights before the ceremony. As the name suggests, Sangeet is all about dance and music. It is one of the most enjoyable ceremonies before the wedding and is exclusively for women.
Vinnie’s hands and feet are decorated with Henna as part of the Indian wedding tradition.
A picture taken during a Hindu ritual for the Bride, the day before the ceremony.
What a gorgeous bride Vinnie was that day…
The couple chose the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, MD for the ceremony and reception because the hotel can easily accommodate more than 500 guests in their ballrooms.
The ceremony was very solemn…
And everyone is dressed so colorful and beautiful…
Congratulations to Vinnie and Rohit!
Beautiful arrangements by the team at the Hyatt Cambridge and Heidi Kern of Entertain Me Event Planning.
And after 3-4 hours of both the Hindu and Sikh wedding ceremonies, the party begins!
Like what I said, we were so blessed to have been part of this wonderful celebration of LOVE and FAMILY! And I offer this POEM for this wonderful couple!
