…who will be tying the knot today at The Church of Saint Joseph in Bronxville, NY. The reception follows at the VIP Country Club in New Rochelle, NY. It’s going to be a lovely day for a wedding.

We met Jaclyn and Johnny through our previous client Meredith from her wedding last year. They are a sweet couple and they chose The Catholic University of America in Washington DC, where they met while going to school, as their engagement session venue. We also went around DC to capture some images showing the beauty of DC at night….check out this image form their engagement.

We are proud to announce that one of my winning wedding images was featured in the July/ August 2010 issue of the AMERICAN PHOTO MAGAZINE, one of the most prestigious Photography magazine in the world. It won first place in the Wedding Ceremony category in the  ”The Look of Love” contest sponsored by American Photo and Destination Wedding and Honeymoons magazines.

RON SOLIMAN of BEAR, DE, has received special honors in the WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL (WPPI) 2010 Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition. Designed to recognize outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas, NV on March 6 and 7, 2010.

“PASTOR COVERS BRIDE” & “GROOM LIGHTS A CIGAR” each received an Accolade of Excellence in the Wedding Details category.

SOLIMAN competed against an international field of photographers to win such honors.

The Awards of Excellence 16×20 Print Competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2010 competition included 3388 prints in 18 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.
